Interdirect says ‘see you next week’ to former Account Director, Emma Mullings

When we work with our clients, we like to fully immerse ourselves in their business, supporting their marketing activities as if they were our own and building genuine and long-lasting relationships. This has definitely been the case with local client, dbfb communications, as our much-loved and respected AD, Emma takes on a new and exciting opportunity ‘client-side’ from next week (22 February 2021).

Whilst we’re really sad to say goodbye to Emma, we’re excited to be continuing to work with her as our client at dbfb. Reflecting on her time at Interdirect, Emma told us:

“My time at ID has been somewhat of a journey of discovery. Having worked in creative agencies for many years, my experience was with more ‘traditional’ advertising and branding. I came to ID with limited digital knowledge, but with the understanding that it was an area I need to develop if I was to progress. Although it was a steep learning curve, the team at ID is one of the best I have ever worked with – fun, easy going and hard-working.

Throughout my time at ID, I have been fortunate enough to work with some great clients and across many varied accounts. The broad range of industries and sectors we work across means you’re constantly learning and keeping things ‘fresh’. Although there have been challenges, the strong sense of ‘team’ has always meant someone is ready to listen and help.

ID is truly a team of great people, and enough thanks can’t go to Nick who trusted I could ‘learn the ropes’ and has given me every opportunity to develop and progress to the role of Account Director. And also to Katie – it’s been like working with another half of myself. Her help, guidance and friendship has been such a significant part of my time at ID, so thank you from the bottom of my heart. To the entire ID team, you all make ID what it is and I feel privileged to have worked with you all – keep being amazing!”

As much as I am looking forward to my new role and the challenges it will bring, it is with a heavy heart that I leave the ID family. You guys are fantastic and I’m thrilled I’ll still get to work with many of you #ontheotherside!
