A cookie is a small text-only string of information that we store on your computer’s hard disk. These are generally used for making the web site easier for you to visit. For example, we use them to tell us if you have visited the site before. If so they enable us to recall your details from our database so that you do not have to insert them again.
Under the data protection regulations introduced in December 2003 you have the option to refuse cookies. We have implemented a P3P privacy policy throughout our site which will interact with your browser’s privacy settings, enabling us to respond to your wishes with regard to cookies.
If you wish to refuse cookies completely, Interdirect also offers an opt-out. If you choose to opt-out, an ‘opt-out’ cookie will be stored on your computer that will prevent storage of any other cookies from Interdirect and will delete any cookies that we have previously written to your computer. The opt-out cookie is vital to the opt-out service and if deleted you will no longer benefit from your opt-out. The opt out feature may be found at http://www.interdirect.co.uk/privacy/optout.cfm. Every effort has been made to try to make all of the features on this website work even if the opt-out feature has been selected. However, Interdirect Limited cannot guarantee this and you may find the site more difficult to use.
