Danilo publishes and sells online a huge range of Official 2017 Calendars, Planners, Diaries & Birthday Cards, from the biggest football teams to the latest music stars.



The Challenge



Google’s new algorithm penalises non-responsive websites so Danilo urgently needed a mobile-friendly version of their e-commerce website. Fast. Or all their hard work and spend on with social media and SEO for new season calendars would be worthless.



The Work



We explored the benefits of building either a new responsive web design or a dedicated mobile site.  With the clock ticking (and a limited budget) we built and tested a new mobile site - in just three weeks.



The difference



Danilo experienced a 65.33% increase in visitors (61.43% in new users) in just 3 months. Mobile users increased from 10k users to 24k, with 40% viewing on a mobile device. Bounce rate went down 5.34% and dwell time increased by 10%. Pages-per-session also decreased, meaning that users found exactly what they wanted quicker than ever before.
