The Finance for the Future Awards 2012, a joint venture between NatWest, ICAEW and The Prince’s Accounting for Sustainability, have been announced, to celebrate and reward business sustainability. As part of the launch Interdirect has designed and developed an interactive website for the awards.

The Finance for the Future Awards will reward those organisations that have changed their corporate behaviour to embed business sustainability at the heart of their organisations, supported by the finance function.

The website has been designed and developed in version 5 of Interdirect’s bespoke content management system (CMS), SiteMachine, and was built with Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in mind. Interdirect’s online marketing specialist will provide SEO and Pay Per Click (PPC) services on the new website, to ensure that it is at the top of key word searches and has the highest possible online presence.

Businesses can find information on the categories and criteria for awards, details on the judging process, and an online entry form on the new website. There is also a countdown clock to entry deadline on the homepage, as well as a ‘Business Leader or Eco Warrior’ video starring, among others, Theo Paphitis, Deborah Meaden and Sir Richard Branson.

Yate Shopping Centre Gets a Digital Makeover



Yate Shopping Centre
in South Gloucestershire has been given a fresh new look thanks to an innovative website from Interdirect, helping to position the centre as the leading retail destination in the South West.

The new website provides a range of intuitive design functions to improve user navigation and an updated content management system (CMS) to give internal system administrators complete control over the website’s content.

Built using Interdirect’s bespoke CMS, SiteMachine, Yate now has the ability to manage its own image libraries, update event information regularly, and bring the latest store offers and promotions direct to shoppers. The website also features an interactive wayfinding system, a fully integrated centre map and allows users to see what’s happening in and around Yate in the ‘Things to Do’ section.

Interdirect, Milton Keynes leading full service agency, is excited to announce the launch of the new skillscentre:mk website.

Designed and developed by Interdirect the site, which went live on Tuesday, provides training   solutions for all business sectors; from developing retail potential to apprenticeship opportunities. The skillscentre:mk offers a full range of training programmes up to degree level for those in employment as well as those seeking assistance in gaining employment in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

The website is built in Interdirect’s new Version 5 of its content management system SiteMachine, which effortlessly combines increased functionality and usability for admin and consumers, with professional content and design.

Interdirect Launches New Website for Group Leisure

Interdirect recently went live with a new website for Group Leisure - the magazine for travel organisers, which is produced by Milton Keynes-based Yandell Publishing.

 Yandell wanted an easy to access, interactive website, dedicated to group travel. A core aim was to ensure the new user-friendly website would, through content display and ease-of-use, confirm Group Leisure as a valued and trustworthy publication and a reliable place to find original information. These qualities in turn would provide a high value communication channel for advertisers and the clear layout would encourage visitors and increase dwell time, so providing the advertisers with better value space.

The new website was built on version 5, the latest version of Interdirect’s bespoke content management system, SiteMachine. In order to facilitate the level of functionality required by Group Leisure a number of add-ons were developed in addition to the core v5 system. These include the Advert Manager which enables the website administrator to add, edit or delete organisation’s and manage their advertising campaigns, as well as assess the most popular pages and so accurately manage future pricing structure’s.
