Interdirect Launches the Old George Mall, Salisbury

This month Interdirect went live with a brand new website for Salisbury’s most stylish shopping centre, Old George Mall. The elegant and easy-to-use website now takes the number of centres that Interdirect works with up to 18, further bolstering its reputation as a leading provider of innovative digital solutions to the retail sector.

Old George Mall is situated in the heart of historic Salisbury, with an array of cafe’s and popular high street stores. It wanted a website that could operate both as a stylish showcase for the centre and offer an access point for the community to discover what the town has to offer.

Interdirect Goes Live with a New Website for Champneys

Interdirect was delighted when it won the opportunity to redevelop the website for Champneys, the UK’s leading group of health spas. The website needed to be a central point for all 4 spas, Forest Mere, Henlow, Springs and Tring, as well as for the company’s Marbella site and it’s Town and City Spas. 

In a world that is increasingly demanding Champneys is committed to providing a place of relaxation and calm for its customers and this brand promise needed to be communicated through both the new website and the recently developed booking system.

In addition, due to the size of the company and the breadth of services which it offers, the website needed to contain a large amount of information, all of which needed to be content managed in order to enable administrators to keep everything from special offers to new treatments up-to-date and relevant.

With such a large quantity of varied information, it was vital that the navigation through the website was clear and stress free, in keeping with Champneys’ brand promise to their customers. Consequently each section was set up to have a home page to ensure users were aware of the location of the information they were discovering at each resort, whether it be treatments, accommodation or membership.

It was also important for the website to push visitors to the newly developed online booking system and the Champneys Collection E-commerce site (both of which were also developed by Interdirect). Consequently a booking search facility and buttons to both spa products and gift vouchers, were placed on all pages across the site.

Its position in the heart of the city means that the Old George Mall is also more than just a shopping centre, it is a core part of the city itself and as such the website needs to offer an access point for the community and tourists alike, where they can connect with what’s going on in the city.

Interdirect’s wealth of experience with the shopping centre sector and their reputation for providing elegant retail solutions for such eminent brands as thecentre:mk, St Davids and Blue Water, made them the perfect partner for the Old George Mall’s latest venture.

Interdirect Launches New Website for Geoffrey Leaver

Geoffrey Leaver is a leading law firm with a strong local, national and international client base. They wanted a website that packed a punch and strengthened their market position, whilst clearly communicating their commitment to the “Clear Thinking Straight Talking” message of their recent re-brand.

Consequently the clarity of this message needed to be communicated through a user friendly website both from a client and admin perspective.

The website therefore required a powerful yet easy-to-use content management system that would enable Geoffrey Leaver to update its website whenever and as often as necessary. The solution was Interdirect’s easy-to-use SiteMachine product, which provides the underlying platform for the website.

The navigation and display of the website also needed to be clear and engaging. For example Interdirect developed a flash gallery that shows all their profile pictures within a moving slideshow. Each one can be clicked on to read further information about a particular person and find their direct contact details.

In the first week since the website has gone live it has received 420 hits with an average 3.5 minutes dwell time which is a great indication that the website has achieved its goal of communicating clearly. It also indicates that website visitors are being encouraged to navigate through the website and are really engaging with the content and the company.
