Interdirect Goes Live with a New Website for Champneys

Interdirect was delighted when it won the opportunity to redevelop the website for Champneys, the UK’s leading group of health spas. The website needed to be a central point for all 4 spas, Forest Mere, Henlow, Springs and Tring, as well as for the company’s Marbella site and it’s Town and City Spas. 

In a world that is increasingly demanding Champneys is committed to providing a place of relaxation and calm for its customers and this brand promise needed to be communicated through both the new website and the recently developed booking system.

In addition, due to the size of the company and the breadth of services which it offers, the website needed to contain a large amount of information, all of which needed to be content managed in order to enable administrators to keep everything from special offers to new treatments up-to-date and relevant.

With such a large quantity of varied information, it was vital that the navigation through the website was clear and stress free, in keeping with Champneys’ brand promise to their customers. Consequently each section was set up to have a home page to ensure users were aware of the location of the information they were discovering at each resort, whether it be treatments, accommodation or membership.

It was also important for the website to push visitors to the newly developed online booking system and the Champneys Collection E-commerce site (both of which were also developed by Interdirect). Consequently a booking search facility and buttons to both spa products and gift vouchers, were placed on all pages across the site.

Interdirect is delighted to announce the launch of a bespoke new booking system for Champneys, the prestigious, luxury spa group. The new booking system makes it simpler, faster and easier for the customer to book their spa breaks, enabling the Champneys brand experience to be a relaxing one from start to finish.

After listening to feedback from guests, Champneys wanted to develop a system which had easy-to-use navigation and clear instructions, allowing the user to clearly see the choices available to them, such as the type of well being break or the length of stay, and to make a booking with as little stress as possible.

Interdirect has gone live with a number of online magazines recently for clients such as Champneys and Visit Bucks.

Online magazines are a very effective and attractive marketing tool that can be used either on their own, or as part of a comprehensive online marketing campaign. Part of their appeal is that they "feel" like real magazines, yet unlike traditional paper-based magazines, not only is it possible to show pictures and words, but it is also possible to embed videos, forms and even interactive games.
