ID Bowling: Round 3

John Bygrave, Lottie Quinn, Debbie Lamb, David Lamb

Interdirect had yet another great night last Friday at the tri-monthly Bowling Night.

It was lovely to see old and new faces as former ID member John Bygrave came back to maintain his place as the ID Bowling Champion.

New Recruit’s Terry Haggis and Vaughn Angoy also put in sterling performances, with Terry teaching the rest of ID some particularly interesting bowling techniques!

Alas despite all his claims to the contrary Tom Jenkins failed to regain the coveted ID Bowling Trophy and lost to John Bygrave once again (see rounds one and two).

PR Director Debbie Lamb’s brother, David, also put in a particularly dazzling performance to win the Best Celebration Award, cart wheeling his way to the medal after a particularly good strike.

Debbie also deserves a special mention as despite failing to win any of the official prizes she did manage to get an astounding 4 strikes in a row, something which from now on at Interdirect will be called “A Lamby”!

Interdirect Bowling: Round 2

Hannah James, Nicholasa Mann and John Bygrave holding their medals and trophy

Last Thursday Interdirect had the second round of its Bowling Championship!

The Best Celebration and Lowest Score medals were up for grabs again, not everyone can be a bowling King or Queen after all, as of course was the coveted Interdirect Highest Score bowling trophy.

It was a tough night and as the Beer flowed the scores ebbed. Congratulations have to go to John Bygrave though who managed to stay strong all evening and steal the trophy away from the winner of round 1, Tom Jenkins (who was more than a little reluctant to hand it over)!

The Best Celebration medal was awarded to our Managing Director, Nicholas Mann for a stunning floor slide and Hannah James, our Online Marketing Specialist, was proudly awarded the prize for the lowest score!

Bring on Round 3!

ID Bowling Night

The Interdirect team and their bowling trophies

We all had a brilliant time on Friday at the ID beer and bowling night. There were three prizes up for grabs so the competitive side of Interdirect was out in force!

There was an impressive bowling trophy for the highest score, a gold medal for the best celebration and another gold medal for lowest score (which a chosen few fearlessly competed for).

Some of the celebrations were really impressive but there’s still room for improvement -a few closet bowlers surprised us with their King Pin skills while others kept us entertained with their interesting techniques! So bring on the next round!!
