We are currently recruiting for an Account Manager to join our Client Services Team to cover a period of maternity leave. Hence the role is initially for 6 months, however, there is the possibility of it becoming a permanent position for the right candidate. We are happy to consider  candidates wanting to work part-time on a 09:00 – 15:00, 5 days per week basis, or of course full time hours.

Duties of the role:

  • Responsible for your own accounts, building strong relationships with your contacts
  • Assist in the acquisition of new accounts by attending prospect meetings, writing winning proposals, producing presentations and attending pitches.
  • Continued involvement with the client will be imperative to ensure their satisfaction so that you may identify and respond to any other requirements that they might have.
  • Taking detailed briefs from clients to briefing into internal teams.
  • Managing client’s expectations with regards to quotes and delivery of a project.
  • You may be required to attend regular early morning / evening networking events in order to help to maintain Interdirect’s high profile within Milton Keynes and its surrounding areas.

Candidate requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in an account management position in a full service / digital marketing agency or, for the right candidate, client side.
  • Be punctual and highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects for multiple clients.
  • Ideally, cross discipline experience and have worked with both B2B and B2C clients.
  • Must share our love for all things marketing and have an in-depth understanding of both traditional marketing techniques and ideally digital experience as well
  • Have excellent written English and attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, drive and the ability to work as part of a team are prerequisites, but above all you will be trustworthy, genuine and honest.
  • Have a professional appearance that is appropriate for a client-facing role.

The majority of Interdirect’s clients are situated in the Milton Keynes area, along the M1 corridor or in London. However Interdirect is a national agency and you may be required to travel anywhere nationally so it is important you have your own transport.
