Application Development
At Interdirect we’re not afraid of a challenge, and our long and successful history in Application Development is a testament to this fact. Whether it is a well designed intranet for national brands like the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), or an efficient data collation system for companies such as Springboard, Interdirect’s bespoke applications always perfectly meet our clients’ expectations.
Springboard
With its experience working within the retail sector, and a strong reputation in the digital arena, Springboard - the highly successful company that analyses footfall and parking data for some of the biggest retail centres in country – hired Interdirect to develop an application to replace its manual system for collecting and analysing this information.
Springboard required a system that would enable data to be analysed manually and that would dramatically increase its efficiency and accuracy, which in turn would facilitate growth ambitions for the company. Interdirect came up with a solution that enabled a much more accurate analysis of the collated data once it was sent from the sites to our system.
Our determination to always be one step ahead meant we also provided Springboard with added reporting. This feature enables the supplier to resolve issues with minimum hassle and often before the customer is aware that there is even a problem, helping to maintain its reputation for consistent quality. Our made to measure system was so successful that manual labour remained the same for Springboard, despite its expansion from 50 to 200 sites.
Prism
Prism is a financial analysis system aimed at providing sales collection and management data for retail centres across the country. It achieves this goal via the collation of data primarily from retailers, footfall and parking. This system facilitates centre owners to report current and historic sales and enables them to forecast appropriate profits and rent rates.
However despite Prism being a highly efficient overall management system for complex retail structures like shopping centres, to some degree the internal system had become a victim of its own success and could no longer grow with demand.
Consequently Prism required a central point for all systems that could continue to grow with the business. Interdirect’s solution was a programme that has great usability and the capacity to collate vast amounts of comparative data, the result of which was an incredibly accurate forecast system, essential for any retail site opening in the current climate.
As with all our application developments we created a system that was bespoke to the client’s needs, and as a result Prism is now operating in five sites across the country and is considering further expansion.
