Northampton Business School Multi-platform Application

The Brief 

Northampton Business School is one of the six schools that form the University of Northampton.

As a successful international business school with a growing reputation for delivering an outstanding student experience and an innovative range of business facing services, Northampton Business School wanted a multi-platform application that reflected its high standards. Following Interdirect’s success with mobile applications for some of the UK’s leading shopping centres, the business school chose to work with the full service agency on developing an Android, iPhone and web app.

The Solution

Using its highly skilled team of designers, builders and developers, Interdirect produced its first multi-platform application that enables corporate clients and existing and prospective students to learn more about Northampton Business School.

The Northampton Business School app features maps, contact details, news, videos, images, and an interactive quiz.

The app was specifically designed to exemplify the essence of the brand, making use of engaging functionality to encourage repeat visits. This is all driven by Interdirect’s web based content management system (CMS), SiteMachine, which gives staff at Northampton Business School complete control of the mobile user experience.


The Result

Interdirect and Northampton Business School have already seen great results from the application, which has been downloaded by hundreds of UK iPhone users, and Android users across the world, including in Saudi Arabia, USA, Japan and Switzerland. Interdirect expects the download rate of the multi-platform application to continue to grow.
